Your Heart Is In My Mouth

When a person emigrates, where does their heart end up?

In the midst of a surgery, a patient’s heart leaps out of his chest and flees the scene. The doctor at work is forced to hunt for her patient’s heart. It turns out that finding the hiding place of an immigrant’s heart is more complicated than expected.

In this performance and installation, the audience helps track the heart through microscopic texts and putative giant carnival rides.
