Egg + Sperm :: Hide + Seek

There’s only one way to deal with fears about having children …

The sperm count! Audience members get fitted with sperm helmets. They countdown in this giant game of Hide-and-Seek, their wiggly electroluminescent heads flickering together in a circle while the Egg rolls off to hide. The Egg is a translucent fiberglass structure on a tricycle. When the Sperm find it, they attach to its conductive touchpads, and it illuminates. The sperm then guide the Egg back to its garage: a uterine pink arch.

Another set of sperm rushes in to take their chance.

This is a game that can and has lasted all night long.

Premiered at ZERO1 SJ in 2010 and exhibited at Northern Spark in 2011.
